Located in the north of Jiangxi Province, and south side of the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River, Lianxi District enjoys a good geographic location and abundant natural conditions, subordinated to Jiujiang City , administrating 5 townships, 2 counties and 2 sub-districts, taking up an area of 369.8 km2 (the specific area remains settlement), with a population of 259480, which was called “key town on Beijing-kowloon railway, and pearl on the Bohu Lake”. It borders Boyang Lake, the domestic largest freshwater lake, in the east, Yangtze River in the North, Nanchang and Jiujiang Industrial Corridor in the west and tourist attraction Lushan in the south. Suffering magma and glacier in geologic history, Lianxi has various kind of landforms and magnificent mountains. Located in the moist climate area which is between mid-subtropical area and northern subtropics, Lianxi has sufficient illumination moderate climate, distinctive seasons and few climatic disasters, which are suitable for agriculture, forest, animal husbandry and fishery development. 
Lianxi District has a profound history and the ancestors had been lived here since the last period of Neolithic
It was called Jinzhou and Yangzhouyu in the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties. In the Spring and Autumn Period, it bordered Wu in the east and Chu in the west, therefore it was called “the head of Wu and tail of Chu”. In Warring State Period, Lianxi first belonged to Shu, then Yue, and last Southern Chu. In 26th year of Shihuang (221BC), Qin Dynasty was divided into 36 counties, and Lianxi was under the jurisdiction of Jiujiang Prefecture.  
In the 1st year of Gaozu in Han Dynasty(206BC), it was administered by Jiujiang Prefecture, Jiujiang Kingdom. In the 4th year of Gaozu, (203BC), Jiujiang Prefecture was restructured to Huainan Kingdom. In the 6th year of Gaozu (200BC), Chaisang County was set in Yuzhang County, Huainan Kingdom, and it was under the jurisdiction of Chaisang. In 1st year of , Jianguo, in Wangmang’s Dynasty (9AD), Yuzhang was renamed as Jiujiang County, and Chaisang was renamed as Jiujiangting, and it was under the jurisdiction of Jiujiangting, then followed the former name in the Eastern Han Dynasty. 
During the three Kingdoms Period, in 2nd year of Huangchu (221AD), Sunquan Emperor of Wu, set Wuchang Prefecture which administer Chaisang. 
In the 1st year of Yuankang in Jin Dynasty (291AD), the Emperor integrated 7 prefectures from Yanzhou, including Yuzhang, Boyang, Luling, Linchuan, Nankang,Jianan and Jinan, and 3 prefectures from Jinzhou, including Wuchang, Guiyang and Ancheng, into Jiangzhou which administering Chaisang County. In the 1st year of Yongxing (412AD), Xunyang, from Lujiang, and Chaisang, from Wuchang, were combined into Xunyang Prefecture, belonged to Jiangzhou.in the 8th year of Yixi (412AD), Xunyang County was emerged with Chaisang County.  
In the 2nd year of Taiqing in Southern Dynasties (548AD),Runan County was divided from Chaisang County, and both counties were subordinated to Jiangzhou.
In 9th year of Kaihuang in Sui Dynasty (589AD), Xunyang Prefecture,Chaisang County and Runan County were abolished, and Xunyang County was set, which was subordinated to Jiangzhou. In 18th year of Kaihuang (606AD), it was renamed as Pengli County, subordinating to Jiangzhou. In the 3rd year of Daye (607AD), Jiangzhou was reconstructed to Jiujiang Prefecture, and Pengli County was renamed as Pencheng County, subordinating to Lijiang Prefecture. 
In 4th year of Wude in the Tang Dynasty (621AD), the government abolished prefectures and re-set Zhou, and Pencheng County was changed to Xunyang County, subordinating to Jiangzhou. In the 8th year of Wude (628AD), Pencheng County was merged to Xunyang County. In 1st year of Tianbao (742AD), Jiangzhou was reconstructed to Xunyang Prefecture, administering Xunyang County. 
In 939AD, Xunyang County was renamed as Dehua County. 
In 978AD, Xingzi County was apart from Dehua County. Lianxi belonged to both counties.  
In 1361AD, Zhu Yuanzhang, the first Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, took over Jiangzhou, and renamed it to Jiujiangfu administering Dehua County. Nankang Province was replaced by Ningxifu which administering Xingzi County. Lianxi was divided into two part, one was subordinate to Dehua County and the other to Xingzi County. 
9th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1376AD), Xiningfu was renamed as Nankangfu. 
In the 3rd year of the Republic of China (1914AD), to avoid duplication name which in Fujian and Sichuan, the government renamed Dehua as Jiujiang County. The local administration was classified to three levels, including province, Dao and county, so Lianxi was subordinated to Jiujiang County and Xingzi County, Xunyang Dao, Jiangxi Province, and abolished in 15th year of the Republic of China (1926AD). 
After the establishment of the New China, Jiujiang City was set based on Xunyang Township, Jiujiang County, Lushan Authority was established in Lushan. Lianxi was first subordinated to Jiujiang County and Xingzi County, then to Jiujiang County and Lushan Authority. 
In 1980 March, Jiujiang City was updated to provincially administrated municipality. In May, it established Xunyang District in the urban, develop district in the suburb, and Lushan District in Lushan. 6 communes of Jiujiang City, including Gongnongbing, Qianjin, Xingang, Daqiao, Zhouling and Shuichan, and 5 communes of Lushan Authority, including Hongqi, Xiangyang, Denglu, Dongfeng and Gaolong, were put under the city’s suburb. In 1983 July, the municipally affiliated county system was implemented. In 1984 May, to improve Lushan administrative system, Lushan District was repealed, and Lushan Scenic Spot Authority was established. In the August, the suburb was renamed as Lushan District. 
On April 8th, 2016, Xingzi Country was repealed and Lushan City was established. To avoid duplication name, Lushan District was renamed as Lianxi District. 
Lianxi District takes up an area of 369.8 km2, administrating 5 towns, 2 townships, and 2 sub-districts. 
Lianhua Town has jurisdiction over 7 village committees (Panwan,Tanfan, Dongcheng, Xinqiao,Longmen, Lianhua and Taiping), 8 community resident committees (Benghong, 826, Changhua, Huafeng, Jiangyang, Yijiayuan, Miaozhi and Lianhua).
Saiyang Town has jurisdiction over 5 village committees (Tangqiao, Fenghuang, Jinqiao, Saiyang and Donglin), and 1 community resident committee (Saiyang).
Gutang Town has jurisdiction over 8 village committees (Cailing, Zhouling, Xiangji, Shahu, Guangqiao, Dengqiao, Gushan and Yanhu) and 2 community resident committee (Huaqian and Gutang).
Weijia Town has jurisdiction over 5 village committees (Xingde, Jiyu, Jiuxing, Weijia and Xinhua) and 1 community resident committee (Weijia).
Xingang Town has jurisdiction over 12 village committees (Yangjiachang, Guanzhou, Jiangji, Xishan, Honglonggeng, Xingang, Taipingqiao, Wushishan, Zhulin, Fanglan, Changlingkou and Hetang) and 3 community resident committees (Dongsheng, Xingang and Rubber Plant).
Gaolong Town has jurisdiction over 5 village committees (Shuanglong, Yinmen, Qingshan, Gushan and Wuxing) and 2 community resident committees (Gaolong, and Lushan Cement Plant).
Yujiahe Township has jurisdiction over 7 village committees (Kaitian, Minsheng, Dongguang, Daqiao, Luban, Guoqiao and Shanhu) and 1 community resident committee (Yujiahe).
Shili Sub-District has jurisdiction over 2 village committees (Luozishan and Shili) and 24 community resident committees (Shilipu, Dalou, Changhong, Northern Jiangxi Shop, District Government Courtyard, Jiuchai, Nanshan, Chengnan, Dehua, Lianxi, Jiubo, Yibiao, Xinluling, Muxi, Huangtuling, 707 Institute, CTCE5, 713 Plant, Changhe Company, Jiujiang University, training college, plastic plant, 267 Branch and CSC2).
Wuli Sub-District has jurisdiction over 4 village committees (Sanlong, Wuli, Bali and Qianjin), and 9 community resident committees (Yikang, Nanhu Community, North Changhong Road, Hetang New Village, Lujialong, Xundong, Yanjialong, Nanhu, and train station).
Land resources: total land area in Lianxi District takes up of 824,546.4 acres, including 127102.5 acres of arable land and garden land, 340866.3 acres of forestry land, 186581.4 acres of water area, 150568.2 acres of resident and industrial and mining traffic land and 11522.85 acres of unused land . (According to the Land Resources Survey in 2000)
Water resources: 20 larger water systems in the territory, with a total length of 182 km, are originated in Lushan Mountain and its branches, covering a river network density of 0.29 km / km, and having an average annual surface runoff rate of 370 million cubic meters. The groundwater storage was 65.62 million cubic meters, which is in good quality. Water resources exploitation amount reaches to 1.4 million kilowatts.
Mineral Resources: Lianxi District has Kaolin reserves of 10 million cubic meters, limestone reserves of 30 million cubic meters, green stone reserves of 15 million cubic meters, yellow sand and river sand reserves of 35 million cubic meters. In addition, pebbles, flag stone, and Sand for construction industry has a reserve of 100 million cubic meters.
Biological resources: Lianxi District has 223 varieties of cultivated crops, including the well-known Lushan Yunwu tea, the National Silver Medal winner. The forest coverage rate reaches to 33.2%, and the main vegetation are evergreen broad-leaved forest and deciduous evergreen mixed forest, including 40 kinds of rare plants under state protection, and 30 kinds of wild animals of national priority protection; The breed aquatics is 37,000 acres, including cultivated water of 32,000 acres. It has 104 varieties of animals, including the Chinese sturgeon which is under the first-grade state protection. Native products contain “three specialties in Lushan Mountain” (stone fish, stone chicken and stone agaric), Jiujiang pepper, luohan bean, lettuce and Bamboo.
In 2018, under the strong leadership of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, the whole region of Lianxi District not only has thoroughly studied and implemented Xi Jinping's Socialist Thought with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era and fully implemented the new requirements of high-quality leap-forward development, but also has always adhered to the people-centered principle and vigorously promoted the Six Key Projects on the industrial platform, with concentrating efforts and taking on practical work. As a result, the economy of whole region has continued to maintain a good development trend, while various livelihood undertakings have been accelerated and people's sense of well-being has continuously increased correspondingly.
General Outlook: In accordance with preliminary estimation, the total regional GDP for the whole year was 28,768.33 million yuan, an increase of 8.0% over the previous year. Of this total, the value added of the primary industry was 520.64 million yuan, an increase of 3.0%; the value added of the secondary industry was 14,393.51 million yuan, an increase of 6.5%. And the value added of the tertiary industry was 13,854.18 million yuan, an increase of 10.2%. The structure of the three industries was adjusted to 1.8:50.0:48.2 from 1.9: 50.4: 47.7 last year. The contribution rates of the three industries to the growth of GDP were 0.6%, 44.7% and 54.7% respectively, with driving the growth of regional GDP by 0.1%, 3.5% and 4.4% respectively. And the Per capita GDP was 111,617 yuan, an increase of 10.9%.
Note: Due to the adjustment of administrative divisions, Lianxi District's GDP was adjusted from 25,339.46 million yuan to 20,247.46 million yuan at the end of 2015.
The total fiscal revenue for the year was 3399.80 million yuan, an increase of 12.4% over the previous year. Of this total, the general public budget revenue was 13,75.60 million yuan, up 9.1% over the same period last year. Tax revenue was 3048.08 million yuan, an increase of 14.1%, accounting for 89.7% of the total fiscal revenue.
In 2018, the tax revenue of the whole region was 2311.84 million yuan with completing 105.1% of the budget at the beginning of the year, up 18.5% year on year. Local taxes totaled 736.24 million yuan with completing 95.6% of the budget at the beginning of the year, up 2.2% year on year. Finance was 351.72 million yuan with completing 118% of the budget at the beginning of the year, down 0.7 % year on year. And a total of 2,008.89 million yuan of fiscal revenue has been collected from township streets in the whole region, accounting for 104.6% of the target tasks, up 11.6% year on year. Of this total, there are five villages and towns with fiscal revenues exceeding 100 million yuan.
In 2018, the whole region completed a total of 2453.05 million yuan in general public finance budget expenditure, of which the public finance budget expenditure at the regional level was 2257.92 million yuan, accounting for 150.5% of the budget, and the superior special fund expenses was 195.13 million yuan. Expenditure from government funds was 1398.46 million yuan, of which expenditure from government funds at the regional level was 1383.36 million yuan, accounting for 115.1% of the budget, and the budget expenditure of the social security fund was 555.37 million yuan, accounting for 139.7% of the budget.
Implementation of regional-level public budget expenditure items are as following: the general public service expenditure was 492.84 million yuan, accounting for 150.2% of the budget. Defense expenditure was 1.93 million yuan, accounting for 113.1% of the budget. Public security expenditure was 36.45 million yuan, accounting for 103.3% of the budget. Education expenditure was 318.04 million yuan, accounting for 156.6% of the budget. Science and technology expenditure was 47.17 million yuan, accounting for 148.4% of the budget. Culture, sports and media expenditure was 26.72 million, accounting for 213.9% of the budget. Social security and employment expenditure was 186.22 million yuan, accounting for 101% of the budget. Medical and health expenditure was 204.76 million yuan, accounting for 220.4% of the budget. Expenditure on energy conservation and environmental protection was 20.88 million yuan, accounting for 192.2% of the budget. Expenditure on the urban and rural community affairs was 509.93 million yuan, accounting for 661% of the budget. Expenditure on agriculture, forestry and water affairs was 80.88 million yuan, accounting for 188.6% of the budget. Transportation expenditure was 7.3 million yuan, accounting for 168.3% of the budget. Expenditure on the resources exploration, electricity information and other affairs was 48.41 million yuan, accounting for 233.5% of the budget. Expenditure on business services and other services was 4.68 million yuan, accounting for 113.5% of the budget. Expenditure on grain, oil and materials storage was 5.19 million yuan, accounting for 224.8% of the budget. Expenditure on land, resources, meteorology and other affairs was 1.1 million yuan, with a budget of 101%. Housing security expenditure was 102.57 million yuan, accounting for 105.3% of the budget. Other expenditures were 48.96 million yuan, accounting for 36% of the budget. Expenditure on debt interest was 112.64 million yuan, accounting for 56.8% of the budget.
Agriculture: In 2018, the value-added of agriculture in Lianxi District was 543.2 0 million yuan, an increase of 6.0%. The total output value of agriculture in the whole year was 840.09 million yuan, an increase of 1.5%. Of this total, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery and corresponding service industry reached 305.53 million yuan, 236.35 million yuan, 168.99 million yuan, 90.82 million yuan and 38.40 million yuan respectively, up by 4.7%, 12.9%, -11.3%, -9.9% and 9.6% respectively.
In 2018, the sown area of grain was 4,524 hectares, a decrease of 20 hectares compared with that in the previous year; Of this total, the sown area of rice was 3414 hectares, a decrease of 57 hectares; the sown area of wheat was 341 hectares, an increase of 11 hectares; the sown area of corn was 140 hectares, an increase of 6 hectares; the sown area of beans was 144 hectares, an increase of 4 hectares; the sown area of potato was 485 hectares, an increase of 17 hectares.
In 2018, the sown area of cash crops was 6,410 hectares, an increase of 84 hectares. Of this total, the sown area of oil-bearing crops was 2,867 hectares, an increase of 61 hectares; the sown area of cotton was 822 hectares, an increase of 8 hectares; the sown area of vegetables and edible fungi was 2,168 hectares, a decrease of 7 hectares; the sown area of melon and fruit was 141 hectares, a decrease of 8 hectares; the sown area of other crops was 412 hectares, the same as the previous year.
The total output of grain in 2018 was 23,321 tons, a decrease of 150 tons or down by 0.6% over the previous year. Grain output for the whole year was 19,952 tons, a decrease of 1.3% over the previous year. Of this total, the output of rice was 18,739 tons, a decrease of 1.6%; that of wheat was 655 tons, an increase of 21 tons or up by 3.3% over the previous year; that of corn was 558 tons, an increase of 24 tons or up by 4.5% over the previous year; that of beans was 425 tons, an increase of 2.9%; and that of potato was 2,944 tons, down by 3.5%.
The total output of cash crops in 2018 was 47,422 tons, an increase of 0.7%. Of this total, the output of oil-bearing crops was 5,372 tons, an increase of 2.1%; that of cotton was 1,540 tons, an increase of by 1.0%; that of vegetables and edible fungi was 36,345 tons, an increase of 0.2%;that of melons and fruits was 3130 tons, up by 4.6%; and that of other crops was 1,034 tons, the same as the previous year.
At the end of 2018, the actual tea garden was 466 hectares, an increase of 6 hectares over the end of last year. The annual output of tea production was 177 tons, an increase of 4.7%. The orchard area at the end of the year was 625 hectares, an increase of 14 hectares over the end of the previous year. And the output of garden fruits was 5700 tons, an increase of 1.7%.
In 2018, 748 live pigs were registered in the total stocks, down by 98% over the previous year; and 300800 poultry were registered in the total stocks, an increase of 1.9% over the previous year. Pig slaughter 73065, down by 8.1% over the previous year; and 6,208,100 live poultry were slaughtered, an increase of 3.3% over the previous year. The total output of meat for the year reached 6,235 tons, down by 9.6% over the previous year. Of this total, the output of pork was 5,110 tons , down by 11.9% over the previous year; and that of poultry was 1,125 tons, an increase of 2.6% over the previous year. The total output of eggs 572 tons, an increase of 2.1% over the previous year; that of aquatic products was 3,952 tons, down by 21.3% over the previous year.
Industry and Construction: The total value added of industrial in the year was 10648.46 million yuan, an increase of 7.5% over the previous year, accounting for 37% of the region GDP. Of this total, the total value added of industrial enterprises industrial above the designated size was up by -2.8% year-on-year.
In 2018, there were 124 industrial enterprises above the designated size in Lianxi District, with a total output value of industrial above the designated size of 37699.97 million yuan, a decrease of 10.9% over the previous year.
Among industrial enterprises above the designated size in the year, share-holding enterprises realized an industrial output value of 27,534.04 million yuan, an increase of -8.7%; and that of enterprises funded by foreign investors or investors from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan realized a total industrial output value of 9827.44 million yuan, an increase of -9.3%; Other economic enterprises realized an industrial output value of 318.43 million yuan, an increase of -73.1%. Among the industrial enterprises above the designated size in the whole region, the total output value of light industry reached 15442.31 million yuan, an increase of -27.6%; And the total output value of heavy industry reached 22257.66 million yuan, an increase of 6.2%.
Industrial enterprises above the designated size realized 3.819 million yuan in main business income in the year, with 8.8% lower than the previous year, and realized a total profit of 2022.18 million yuan, down 15.5%.
In 2018, the value added of construction of the whole society was 37.45 million yuan, an increase of 2.9% over the previous year. The number of qualified construction enterprises was 34, an increase of 13 over the previous year. The construction area of houses in the year was 1.116 million square meters, an increase of-2.6% over the previous year. Of this total, the newly-built housing area was 689,000 square meters, an increase of 17.2% over the previous year, while the completed housing area was 684,000 square meters, an increase of -0.5%.
Investment in fixed assets: The investment in fixed assets in the year increased by 10.6% over the previous year, of which urban fixed assets increased by 18.4%, real estate development decreased by 10.3% over the previous year, and industrial fixed asset investment increased by 10.3%.
In 2018, 3,865 units of housing in rundown urban areas in the whole region were renovated and 3,010 units were basically completed. Throughout the year, 51 poor households with financial difficulties in the rural areas of the whole region had their dilapidated buildings renovated, of which 24 were newly built and 27 maintained.
In 2018, the completed commercial housing area was 820,581 square meters, an increase of 455.4%. The floor space of commercial building sold reached 989,999 square meters, an increase of 28.3%; The total sales of commercial building were 745,844 million yuan, an increase of 37.3%. At the end of the year, the area of commercial building for sale was 189,379 square meters, down by 3.3%.
Trade: The total retail sales of consumer goods in the year was 3745.15 million yuan, an increase of 11.6% over the previous year. By region, the retail sales in urban areas reached 2354.66 million yuan, an increase of 6.3%. And the retail sales in the rural market reached 1390.49 million yuan, an increase of 22.1%.
In 2018, the number of service enterprises above designated size in the region was 34, with operating income of 1594.62 million yuan, an increase of 20% year on year, and the total profit of 210.15 million yuan, an increase of 5.6% year on year.
Foreign Economy: The total value of exports in the year was 1,897.94 million yuan, an increase of 11.7% over the previous year.
During the year, four new foreign-invested enterprises were approved, with actual foreign direct investment reaching US$ 179.73 million, an increase of 11.03% over the previous year. The actual income from projects outside the province was 14.191 billion yuan, an increase of 17.41%.
Transportation, Posts and Telecommunications and Tourism: In 2018, the whole region completed 29 highway construction projects connecting natural villages with more than 25 households, totaling 16.8km, with a total investment of 3.951 million yuan, and completed 3 dangerous bridge reconstruction projects. In the whole year, the region allocated 846,000 yuan for maintenance, completing 41 rural highway maintenance projects and 1 large and medium-sized maintenance project with involving 1.46 million yuan for maintenance.
In 2018, the whole region had one passenger travel company and 84 passenger cars. The number of freight enterprises is 112 and the freight vehicles is 4066, of which 6 are dangerous goods transport enterprises and 41 are dangerous goods transport vehicles. The annual passenger volume was 299,000 and the passenger turnover was 1996,000 person-kilometers. Freight volume was 4.537 million tons and freight turnover was 40.536 million tons/km.
In 2018, the total capacity of water transport in the whole region was 3,565 tons, with a total capacity of 23,878 tons. Waterway freight volume was 164,000 tons and freight turnover was 37.58 million tons/km.
The total amount of postal services completed in the year was 7.15 million yuan, an increase of -8.16% over the previous year. The revenue from postal correspondence business completed by the postal industry was 374,000 yuan, the revenue from parcel business was 1,093,000 yuan, and the revenue from express delivery business was 1,817,800 yuan. In the whole year, Lianxi District received and dispatch 256,700 letters, 12,600 parcels and 314,400 express mails.
The annual number of domestic tourists was 5.3321 million. And the overseas tourists were 6,755; Domestic tourism revenue was 4.802 billion yuan; Foreign exchange income from tourism was US$ 2,158,800.

Population and employment: By the end of 2018, the permanent residents population was 259,480, an increase of 3,477 over that at the end of 2017. Of this total, 209,857 are urban population, accounting for 80.88% of the total population (urbanization rate of resident population), or 0.54 percentage points higher than that at the end of the previous year. The year 2018 saw 3,198 births, a crude birth rate of 12.41‰, and 1541 deaths, or a crude death rate of 5.98‰, down 0.02 thousandths. The natural growth rate was 6.43‰, down 0.23 thousandths. The registered population was 226,451, with a urbanization rate of 63.8%, down 0.4 percentage points from the end of last year.  
At the end of 2018, the number of employed people in the whole region was 130,900 , and that in urban areas was 72700. The newly increased employed people in urban areas numbered 5,460, 420 fewer than in the previous year. The urban unemployment rate registered was 3.5% at the year end, up by 0.5 percentage points from the end of the previous year. The total number of migrant workers in 2018 was 58,200, down by 21.46%. The number of migrant workers who left hometowns and worked in other places was 12,000, down by 4%, and those who worked in their own localities reached 46,200, down by 25%.
Residents' Income, Consumption and Social Security: In 2018, the annual per capita disposable income of urban households was 37869 yuan, an increase of 7.9% year on year. The annual per capita disposable income of rural households was 18,171 yuan, an increase of 8.2% year on year, and the income ratio of urban and rural residents was 2.08: 1.
By the end of 2018, a total 39,385 people participated in urban basic pension program for staff and workers, a year-on-year increase of 14,117. A total of 197,102 people participated in basic health insurance program, the same as the previous year, of whom, 12,831 people participated in basic health insurance program for staff and workers. Some 7,157 people participated in unemployment insurance programs, an increase of 249. A total of 22,214 people participated in work accident insurance, the same as the previous year, of whom 13,739 were migrant workers from rural areas, an increase of 12,107. A total of 9,160 people participated in maternity insurance programs, the same as the previous year. Education, Science & Technology, Culture and Sports: Throughout the year, there are 42 schools (including one teaching point), with 28 primary schools (including one teaching point), 8 in Nine year system, 4 in junior high schools and 2 in high school. And there are 588 classes in the whole region, including 397 primary school’s classes, 133 junior high school’s classes and 58 senior high school’s classes. Ordinary high schools have 1,141 students, with 3,313 students at school and 997 graduates. Junior high school has 2,087 students, with 6,007 students at school and 1,881 graduates. Ordinary primary schools have 3,248 students, with 16,928 students at school and 3,003 graduates. There are 1,699 full-time teachers, including 905 in primary school, 550 in junior high school and 264 in senior high school. There are 12,854 preschool children in the kindergarten. The gross enrollment rate in high school is 95.1%.
In 2018, the whole region issued a total of 2,952,700 yuan in educational subsidies for poor students, benefiting 3,241 students, and realizing reveal all the details's lump sum for 499 poor students' insurance premiums, uniforms, tutoring textbooks and other expenses in compulsory education. And the Medical and health institutions have 795 beds, of which include 300 in hospitals and 133 in township hospitals. In the whole year, a total of 659,400 people were diagnosed and treated, while 19,200 were discharged.
At the end of the year, the whole region had 14 pension service institutions with 821 beds. And there were 3 community service centers and 16 community service stations.
